Hello, my name is Dimo Boychev and in the following lines I will tell you the story of how tattooing became an invariable part of my life. The whole action takes place 20 years ago. It all started as a joke when I was in the army. A colleague knew of my weakness for fine art and often encouraged me to start applying my skills to a human canvas. At the time, this idea seemed quite unrealistic to me, but after he kept assuring me that I should get a tattoo, I finally agreed. So I started tattooing my colleagues in the military, then continued to do so after my discharge. I opened my own studio in my hometown of Haskovo, and not long after that my desire to develop as a tattoo artist began to grow and I decided to start working in the summer seasons in Sunny Beach as well. Quite by chance, I also met my future partner there, with whom we have had a studio in Karlsruhe, Germany for 11 years now. In fact, that's where my motivation to get better and more confident by attending big conventions and meeting big artists really grew. Artists with whom I exchanged experiences and strengthened my position as a tattoo artist in Europe. From that moment to this day, tattooing has been my driving force and what I really am.
